"Transformational Growth" by Rohan Routroy

Some flowers exhibit heliotropism. Sunflower is the perfect example. They twist towards the sun. In the process, they make a turn in a specific orientation. This sculpture is inspired from that. It starts off from a circle to become an eight pointed star. From a bud to a flower. The shapes have been simplified to reach to this conclusion. It twists and turns till it reaches the top. The gradual growth is a source of inspiration and the color coding makes it look lihter than it actually is. This project according to me is incomplete and still needs alot of improvement. This is in the middle stage and will need some time to mature. The idea is transforming and I am still trying to actualize my vision.
