SoundBrace

 

Whether it was in your car or at a concert, everyone’s played a wicked air guitar solo or pretended to beat the drums at some point. Now musicians and music lovers can actually make beats or practice on the go without carrying an instrument around. Using a combination of motion-capture and gesture technology (Leap Motion and Myo), each of the two SoundBraces detect the position of the user's hands and fingers with two cameras. The brace also measures electrical signals generated in the forearm to further determine the different finger gestures.
