Peter is an architect, design educator, sculptor and photographer. Working as an architect since 1995, he has built buildings and provided design consultancy to clients that range from large scale institutional projects to smaller design-intensive work such as urban furniture and boutique buildings. His experience extends beyond the traditional confines of architecture to include furniture, photography, sculpture and urbanism, and all else in between.
As a design educator, he has taught architecture at the National University of Singapore; interior design and photography at LASALLE College of the Arts and most recently, game design and creative processes at Singapore Polytechnic, and is continuing to impart the skills of a designer to the emerging generation at the ADM in the Foundation year. His current work takes him into the realm of conceptual furniture, shelter and sculpture in urban conflict, all which attempt to reveal the ironic disjunction between the idealized aspects of design and its constructed double.
